The Swiss Consulate General in Milan, the Bassetti Foundation, the Swiss Chamber, and the MEET Digital Culture Center come together at Swiss Corner

Innovation “surrounds” us on all sides. But under what conditions, within this world, can we still consider ourselves active participants rather than mere recipients?

They discussed this on Thursday, June 25, at Swiss Corner during a morning session that included, among others:

The event, taking as its starting point the theme of immersivity proposed by the MEET Digital Culture Center in the 2026 edition of “The New Atlas of Digital Art,” explored the concept in greater depth, expanding it to the realms of economics, politics, and social life, and highlighted the necessity of the threshold as the moment when a person comes into being. The threshold is what allows us to move from an immersion that exploits us to one in which we actively participate.
