Giovanni Segantini returns to Milan in a major exhibition that, beginning with a celebration of his Milanese identity, presents the full scope of his work—from his rise to international prominence through major exhibitions to his pilgrimage to the mountains of the Engadine, where he lived and worked until his death.

The exhibition at Palazzo Reale will be complemented by an interesting comparison between the landscapes depicted in the famous work “Triptych of the Alps” and contemporary photographs of those same Engadine landscapes. The images will be on display at the innovative SWISS CORNER event space of the Swiss Chamber of Commerce in Italy from October 30 to November 9, 2014. In addition, our Chamber of Commerce will display images and documents by Giovanni Segantini, along with stories from another Expo, in the Swiss Corner’s display windows.
