{"id":12847,"date":"2024-05-02T17:34:29","date_gmt":"2024-05-02T15:34:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.swisscornermilano.it\/events\/planetary-garden-outside-orticola-swiss-corner\/"},"modified":"2026-07-30T14:47:09","modified_gmt":"2026-07-30T12:47:09","slug":"planetary-garden-outside-orticola-swiss-corner","status":"publish","type":"event","link":"https:\/\/www.swisscornermilano.it\/en\/events\/planetary-garden-outside-orticola-swiss-corner\/","title":{"rendered":"Planetary Garden | Outside Orticola Swiss Corner"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <strong>Orticola di Lombardia<\/strong> garden fair, held at <strong>the Indro Montanelli Public Gardens<\/strong> on Via Palestro, has been fostering an interest in and love for greenery for years, and through the \u201cFuoriOrticola\u201d initiative, it\u2019s bringing a touch of spring to the storefronts of downtown Milan.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Following last year\u2019s success\u2014winning the <strong>flower-display contest<\/strong> with over 15,000 votes <strong>\u2014<\/strong>Swiss Corner has once again taken center stage at Fuori Orticola as an exceptional venue and <strong>showcase for Switzerland, the country chosen as this year\u2019s guest of honor<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Interpreting the theme of the 2024 Horticultural Market Fair, \u201cYoung Gardeners Grow,\u201d <a href=\"http:\/\/www.swisschamber.it\"><strong>the Swiss Chamber<\/strong><\/a> has reimagined the Swiss Corner this year as a grand <strong>Planetary Garden<\/strong>: a flower-filled oasis centered on nature, with humanity as its responsible steward.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>A project that has prioritized <strong>sustainability<\/strong>, <strong>innovation<\/strong>, and respect for the environment.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Planetary Garden | Outside Orticola Swiss Corner | The Project<\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The outdoor area of the Swiss Corner has been redesigned as a large garden, with creative direction entrusted to the renowned Milanese landscape architect <strong>Vittorio Peretto<\/strong> (<a href=\"https:\/\/hortensiadesign.com\/\"><strong>Hortensia Garden Design<\/strong><\/a>).
